DashThe dash had been taken apart previous to the car arriving at our shop, so we had to determine where all the trim and controls went. |

Much of the dash trim was also sent for new chrome,
including the speaker grille and ashtray covers, to add a little extra
shine. |

A glove box was made, and a cd player installed inside with a remote IR hidden in the speaker grille. |

Folding topNext in the restoration process is the folding top. The original top was in sad shape. |
![]() |
The wood header bow was rotted away and had to be replaced, as did all the other wood in the top. |

The frame was stripped down, any damage repaired, and painted. New wooden components were made and installed. |

Then the folding frame could be mounted in the car. The next step is fitting a custom cloth top. |

Once the top has been repaired and all the wooden components replaced, the bow height can be determined and we can begin fitting the pads and then the top. |

First are the rear pads and a support strap
forward to the front bow to maintain the proper height. |
