Then a layer of foam and leather is laid onto the flat panel, and a feature line is stitched into the leather. Notice the recessed areas for the armrest, Thunderbird emblem, and carpeted lower section.

The factory armrests will be used, so they are wrapped in leather as well.

These Thunderbird logos were cut from aluminum and then anodized, and inserted into the door panels.

Then the completed door panel can be installed on the car.

After fitting the car with black wool carpet the seats and door panels are installed finishing a very balanced and well designed interior.
