Then a box is built around the shifter that will provide support for the center console.

And next we begin to add the tubing that makes up the firewall section between the engine and passenger compartment.

And here we see the engine compartment/rear suspension mount section with the motor and transmission removed, ready to be moved to the frame jig and continued forward.

With the engine compartment mostly complete, the frame section is moved to a specially built frame jig.

Diagonal supports are added from the firewall to the engine compartment.

Here we see the rocker sections being constructed in a jig.

Then the rockers are welded into place connecting to the firewall.

And more diagonal supports are added from the rear of the engine compartment forward to the firewall/rocker area.

Here we se the first half of the front suspension cross member.

And here we see both halves connected.
